We're Back!!

Had a great time in Maui, glad to be home though, to see the girls and snuggle with them. It is crazy how you can miss the smells of your kids and their squishy touch, with perfect soft skin, and the cutest little voices and giggles. callie was sooooooo cute when she saw us , she could hardly contain herself, arms stretched out wiggling fast to give us hugs and kisses! i haven't ever seen that BIG of a smile on her before. She loves us and missed us! Carly is getting so big! nearly in her sisters clothes ( size 2 ) and she is only 8 months! : ) she has perfected the super crawl, getting really fast. At home i was looking for her and noticed callie left her sandal on the second step of our stairs and where was carly?? well she crawled over and sat on the first step!!!!!!!!!! ahhhh! that scared me! i couldn't believe she could do that already ...

i will post some pics of the beautiful maui sunsets and also a turtle we swam with at Black Rock.

Maui Maui Maui!!!!!!!!!!!

okay, i think i am finally getting excited.... not sure why it is taking me so long....
maybe cause i feel a tad bit guilty cause we could really use the money elsewhere ( we planned this trip last year nearly a year ago ) and things were different even just a year ago with gas prices and everything else : )
also i recently ( does 8 months still count as recent !!!??? ) had my 2nd baby in 2 years, so i am not exactly where i want to be health and fitness wise. anyway, i have been tanning all month and i am actually getting brown! normally i am really white and freckly . so here we are 3 nights from our trip, i haven't packed, not sure what to take, wear all that stuff!!! but what i do know is that i want to shop for Roxy Girl clothes for my super sweet girls: ) i love the surfer clothes for toddlers and babies! they are so cute.
i love shopping for them . that is most likely where my suvenior money will go!
hahahaha
next time i post you will get to hopefully see a beautiful Hawaiian Sunset!

sweet nieces!

our very dear nieces have been visiting and i just wanted to share!
they have been such great helpers, trying to get callie potty trained and are the sweetest girls ever!
we have had so much fun going to the zoo, the parks, fort vancouver and the mall!!!

what's new with the christ's : )

so much has been happening over here. it is like going in warp speed!
callie turned 2 years old, super cutie, getting an attitude for sure. we are trying to get her potty trained, some days are better than others. if anyone has any cool tricks to share, please do!
we have tried: m&m's , stickers, dora anything, princess panties and pj's . and i am sure a few other things.
we Need to get her trained because having 2 kids in diapers at once is EXPENSIVE!
hahaha, we knew what we were in for, but really we didn't KNOW until you KNOW!
ya know!

carly is getting so big, 8 months old, 6 teeth, crawling and sitting so well!
she laughs all the time and is playing with callie so cute. she pulls her hair and i never tell her no cause i figure it is just pay backs from all the times callie smothers her and lays on top of her.
yes - i find her laying on her. it freaks me out. yes i am watching my girls but you know how quick they are to do crazy things !

with jason and i things are great, we are busy keeping up with the girls who are constantly moving : ) and doing well with our photography business. now that the weather is getting better, we can do more outdoor shoots- i love outdoor shoots!

WE ARE GOING TO MAUI!!!! SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!! 2 more weeks!

i am sure i will send some images over!
i will be laying in the sun and sleeping all night without getting woke up by my girls!
i am really looking forward to a little break with my best friend ( jason ) by my side, we love hawaii.

4 new teeth!

carly is getting 4 top teeth at once- can you believe that. she looks so different without her gummy smile!
so that will be 6 teeth at 6 months!

carly got her 2 lower teeth at 4.5 month and now her 2 top teeth are coming in!!!!
i can't believe it - makes me realize she isn't really a baby any longer .
eating food, gonna go buy a sippy cup for her to hold. : - (

just kidding!!! i am excited she is getting so big. it just goes WAAAY too fast.

i still cannot believe it! her vocabulary is doing so well - she amazes me everyday.
she can count to about 15 and say most of the alphabet!

another tooth!

i can't believe my baby has her two front teeth already. it really seems a bit early, well at least for me!!!
she looks soooooooo cute with her chubby little cheeks and now little teeth.

hi everyone !
carly had her 4 month check recently and she is getting so big!

head 25%
she is nearly 14 pounds!!
her first tooth broke through the gums 2 days ago.
she is starting to sit up and hold onto her legs. she rolls over from the back to front.

we took the girls to the zoo ! it was such a pretty day, a bit chilly but we all had a good time

It has been crazy cold and windy here lately!

today we went out on a misson to take some shots for callie's comp cards!!! she made it in the modeling agency! they wanted carly too! we will see how things go, if she even enjoys it, but this i know ........ she is very used to having my camera in her face all the time!!!! today it was so cold!!! 42 degrees, very foggy but so cool!

guess what!

tomorrow will be an exciting day for us, callie got accepted into Murphy Talent Group. a modeling agency in portland. we find out all the details in the morning. i am really excited to see what happens with this.
